Callaway Diablo Edge Irons Hybrid Combo Set (3 and 4 Hybrid, 5-PW

Receiving a gold medal from Golf Digest's 2010 Hot List for Super Game Improvement Irons, this 8-club set of Callaway Diablo Edge irons provide increased distance without compromising feel or performance. The lower, deeper center of gravity (CG) makes the sweet spot more accessible and is in line with where amateurs most commonly hit the ball on the clubface, generating longer, consistent distance and improved accuracy. And Callaway's core technologies like VFT, S2H2, Modified Tru-Bore, and a 360-Degree Undercut Channel work together to maximize distance, feel and playability.

This 8-club set features graphite shafts and includes the following clubs: #3H, #4H, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, PW (see specs for this set).

Maximized Distance
A lower, deeper CG is designed to make the sweet spot more accessible at lower impact locations. This generates longer, more consistent distance and improves accuracy for more greens in regulation.

Solid Impact Sole
Delivering smooth turf interaction, the sole is designed to mitigate the effects of heavy and thin shots and improve the impact location on the face for greater distance.

Callaway Core Technology: 360-Degree Undercut Channel
The 360-Degree Undercut Channel found in these Callaway irons (seen at left) maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the center of gravity (CG) lower and farther back in the clubhead, enlarging the hitting area and stabilizing the clubhead for more forgiveness.

Callaway Core Technology: VFT Technology
With Callaway's VFT Technology, the club creates higher ball speeds across the entire face, meaning hotter distance with more consistency. The face is thicker in the center and ultra-thin around the edges, which allows more energy from the impact of the clubface to be transferred to the ball. In irons, VFT Technology allows Callaway Golf engineers to lower the center of gravity for optimum trajectory with each iron in the set, giving a higher launch angle in the long irons and better trajectory height in short irons and wedges.
